constitutes a uniform front and back-office environment for
branches, central departments and electronic banking channels,
ensuring continuous real-time operation on a 24-hour basis.
By declaring to the system user-definable access and authorization
rules that are parametrically defined according to the bank's
internal policies and procedures, PROFITS®
facilitates standardization of operational flow and maximizes

PROFITS® offers 24-hour real-time
processing of banking transactions via traditional (branch) as well
as electronic banking channels (ATM/POS, phone, internet, call center,
etc).
- Automated User/Unit/Bank End-Of-Day Procedures
End-Of-Day Procedures at User/Unit/Bank levels
are parametrically designed so as to minimize the time and resources
needed. The system also offers the capability of instant and accurate
information on cash positions at User/Unit/Bank levels.
PROFITS® offers an integrated
information repository, accessible On-Line Real-Time by authorized
users, offering a variety of user-defined Management Reports for
exploitation purposes. Furthermore, this repository constitutes
the basis for the Bank's Data Warehouse environment.
- General Ledger Integrated Control
PROFITS® General Ledger functionality
includes powerful multi-currency accounting facilities based on
bank-definable accounting structures, thus providing integrated
control, increased efficiency and elimination of errors.

architectural structure and technology standard enable INTRACOM IT SERVICES
to successfully transfer the knowledge to the customer thus offering
significant independence capabilities to the Bank. We give you the

Technical Architecture
PROFITS®
offers comprehensive business functionality, in combination with
advanced technology and scalable architecture. Its modular n-tier
architecture guarantees interoperability, scalability and the flexibility
to be easily extended according to dynamically changing user needs.
The system operates on open standards platforms, offering
unlimited freedom to the Bank, to choose any operating platform,
from IBM mainframes to UNIX, Win-NT or J2EE environments. Such freedom
is also offered towards the choice of database (DB2, ORACLE, Sybase,
Informix, SQL Server, JDBC, etc), user interface design (GUI, browser-based,
etc), middleware (CICS, Tuxedo, Encina, MQ Series, etc) or language
(C, Cobol, Java, EJB).
Industry standard messaging protocols and gateways
guarantee the open connectivity and interfacing to other systems,
thus protecting the Bank's existing IT investments.
PROFITS® modern technology architecture
integrates seamlessly multiple delivery channels (ATM/POS, internet,
phone, WAP/SMS, call centre, etc) ensuring 24-hour real time processing
of high volumes.

environment for multiple platforms has been used throughout the
design of the system. PROFITS®
