+++ Cooperation Expansion between INTRACOM Defense Electronics and THALES Communications +++

INTRACOM Defense Electronics, a subsidiary of INTRACOM Holdings, expands its cooperation with French company THALES Communications with the signature of a new contract worth of 2,6 Mil Euro.

The contract concerns the development, qualification, industrialization and production of a VHF/HF Remote Control System (RCS 610) for THALES range of PR4G VHF and HF radios. The RCS 610 is a multifunctional terminal, especially designed for military applications that supports a wide range of services over VHF or HF radios and allows distant users to gain control of all important radio parameters. The RCS 610 will be exclusively sold, as the remote control system for the PR4G VHF and HF radios worldwide.

This contract renews the confidence and further expands the long-standing and excellent cooperation of the two companies in the field of communications. This selection establishes INTRACOM Defense Electronics as a reliable and preferred partner of THALES, one of the most significant companies worldwide in the fields of Aerospace, Defense and Security, in order to meet its international requirements.

This agreement contributes to the existing and very important involvement of INTRACOM Defense Electronics in development and production programs for telecommunications systems and demonstrates its recognition by leading international manufacturers in the defense field.
